Use it if
- The site is Jira Cloud.
- A built-in or saved filter is the list you want in the plan.
- Reading those issues into the plan is enough.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store. It pulls issues from a Jira Cloud filter into one ordered plan for today, next to your mail, calendar, and other task apps. The connection is Jira Cloud only, and it is import only. It unlocks as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack.
Native macOS app.
HWH reads the issues a built-in or saved filter returns. It does not replace Jira, and finishing a task here does not move the issue through a workflow.
The Mac calls Jira Cloud directly, with no HWH server in between.
| Product | This is Jira Cloud only. Jira Server and Jira Data Center are not supported. |
|---|---|
| Connection | You provide the site URL, your email, and an API token. HWH stores them in the macOS keychain and calls Jira Cloud from the Mac, with no HWH server in between. There is no HWH account. Tasks and plans stay on the Mac. |
| Imports | Issues from a built-in or saved filter. |
| Writes | This is import only. Completing a task in HWH does not transition the Jira issue. |
Use it if the site is Jira Cloud and a filter already names the issues you want next to mail, calendar, and your other task apps.
Stop if the site is not Jira Cloud.
No. The connection is for Jira Cloud.
No. Status changes stay in Jira.
No. The Mac calls Jira Cloud itself. The site URL, email, and API token sit in the macOS keychain, and there is no HWH account.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store, and you can use it without paying. You earn points by completing tasks and hitting daily goals, spend them in the in-app Store, and start with an opening balance. Connections to other apps unlock as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack. The Founder Pack is $29.99, once, if you want everything unlocked now. You do not have to buy it, and it is not a subscription.
