Use it if
- That project, or one section, is the list for today.
- You can create a Todoist API token and keep it on the Mac.
- You accept that deleting a task in the plan deletes it in Todoist.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store. It brings active Todoist tasks from a project, and from a section if you set one, into one ordered plan for today, alongside mail and calendar. The Mac calls Todoist directly, with no HWH server in between. It unlocks as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack.
Native macOS app.
Todoist still holds the tasks. HWH imports the active ones from the project you choose, and Todoist receives that call.
| Connection | You give HWH an API token. It is stored in the macOS keychain. The Mac calls Todoist directly, with no HWH server in between. There is no HWH account, and tasks and plans stay on the Mac. |

| Writes | HWH can create tasks, append to descriptions, and delete tasks. |
Use it when the active tasks in one Todoist project, or one section of it, are what you want beside mail and calendar.
You need a Todoist API token. HWH keeps it in the macOS keychain.
Active tasks in one project. Set a section if you want only that part of the project. Each task brings its description, due date, and priority.
Into the macOS keychain, on the Mac that runs HWH. The call to Todoist goes out from that Mac.
It can create a task, append text to the description, and delete the task.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store, and you can use it without paying. You earn points by completing tasks and hitting daily goals, spend them in the in-app Store, and start with an opening balance. Connections to other apps unlock as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack. The Founder Pack is $29.99, once, if you want everything unlocked now. You do not have to buy it, and it is not a subscription.
