Use it if
- You have the server URL, a username, and an API key.
- A saved query is how you want the list limited.
- The issue number and a link back are enough context in the plan.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store. It brings issues from a saved query on your own Redmine server into the daily plan, with the issue number and a link back. The Mac calls that server directly, with no HWH server in between. It unlocks as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack.
Native macOS app.
HWH does not host Redmine. It imports the issues from one project and one saved query, and shows them beside mail and calendar.
| Connection | Any Redmine server. You provide the server URL, your username, and an API key, and HWH stores them in the macOS keychain. The Mac calls your server directly, with no HWH server in between. There is no HWH account. Tasks and plans stay on the Mac. |
|---|---|
| Imports | Issues from a project plus a saved query, with the issue number, subject, content, and a link back. |
| Writes | HWH can create issues. It does not mirror every edit you then make. |
Use it if you track work as issues on a Redmine server you run, and a saved query already names what you want in today’s plan.
Any Redmine server is fine.
Yes. Point HWH at that server with its URL, your username, and an API key. The Mac calls the server directly.
The issues in the project you pick that also match a saved query, each with a link back.
No. The only write is creating an issue. Other edits are not sent back.
HWH is free on the Mac App Store, and you can use it without paying. You earn points by completing tasks and hitting daily goals, spend them in the in-app Store, and start with an opening balance. Connections to other apps unlock as you use HWH, or with the Founder Pack. The Founder Pack is $29.99, once, if you want everything unlocked now. You do not have to buy it, and it is not a subscription.
